Governance & Leadership

LaSalle County Konnections is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for organizational oversight, financial stewardship, and mission alignment. The Board ensures that the organization operates in accordance with nonprofit best practices, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations.

The organization maintains governance policies that support accountability and transparency, including organizational bylaws, conflict of interest standards, and financial oversight and reporting practices. Board members and leadership serve without compensation and are committed to advancing the mission and long-term sustainability of the organization.

LaSalle County Konnections maintains a Conflict of Interest Policy to support ethical decision-making and accountability within leadership and governance. Financial oversight includes board review of budgets, financial reporting, and major expenditures to ensure responsible stewardship of resources.

Volunteers, facilitators, and leadership are expected to operate in alignment with organizational policies, ethical standards, and community values.

Organizational bylaws are maintained and reviewed by the Board of Directors and are available upon request. LaSalle County Konnections also maintains records in accordance with nonprofit compliance requirements, including incorporation documents, tax filings, and board records.

The organization is committed to leadership continuity and long-term sustainability through board oversight and documented operational practices.

Governance documents are available upon request for grantmakers, partners, and stakeholders.

LaSalle County Konnections is a member of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF), a national advocacy organization dedicated to advancing consent, safety, and civil rights for adults engaged in consensual relationships and self-expression. This membership reflects LCK’s commitment to ethical standards, informed consent, and responsible community education.
