Community Wellness Center

The center will include private office space for independent, licensed, affirming professionals who serve LGBTQIA+, ENM, and alternative-lifestyle clients. These providers may include therapists, counselors, and wellness practitioners who operate under their own licensure and insurance.

LaSalle County Konnections will not provide clinical services directly but will offer safe, affirming space that reduces stigma and improves access to care.

  The Community Wellness & Education Center will house a lending and reference library featuring books and educational materials on:

LGBTQIA+ identities and lived experiences

Ethical non-monogamy and relationship diversity

Consent culture and communication

Trauma-informed care and emotional regulation

Family dynamics, parenting, and chosen family structures


 This library will provide low-barrier access to education, especially for individuals who may not feel safe researching these topics in public or traditional settings.

A multi-use education and creative space will support:

Workshops and classes

Discussion groups and peer learning

Arts-based programming

Educational seminars

Community meetings


This space may also be available for private, mission-aligned rentals, such as birthday gatherings, creative workshops, or small group events, with clear expectations around safety and respect.

 The center will offer shared and private workspaces for queer-affirming and alternative-lifestyle-aligned professionals, including educators, therapists, creatives, and wellness practitioners.

This co-working model supports:
