Community Education & Konnection Kamping Retreat


Join us for a weekend of education, embodiment, connection, and intentional play-adjacent exploration in an inclusive outdoor setting.

This retreat is designed for adults seeking consent-centered experiences, deeper connection, and opportunities to explore alternative relationship dynamics within a structured, values-aligned community.

What To Expect

  • Education focused on communication, boundaries, and power exchange
  • Facilitated group activities supporting embodiment and trust

  • Community games, creative offerings, and vendor participation
  • Opportunities for connection, reflection, and shared ritual
  • Guest alternative lifestyles educators/facilitators


    Programming is guided, structured, and grounded in informed consent, autonomy, and mutual respect.

Who This Retreat is For

This retreat is intended for adults who are:


  • Curious, experienced, or established within alternative lifestyle communities
  • Interested in learning, connection, and consensual exploration
  • Seeking a balance of education, play-adjacent space, and community care


Participation is always optional, and consent is required at every level.



Important Information

This retreat is intended for adults and includes programming related to alternative lifestyle education, power dynamics, and consensual adult expression.

Programming may include freely expressive, embodiment-based practices and experiential modalities that support creativity, connection, and consensual exploration within a structured, consent-centered environment.


Specific details about optional experiential spaces and community expectations will be shared during registration.

Accommodations

Primitive Bunk-House  Cabins

     No electricity/water a touch of camping with  a roof and door. Twin beds included. Must bring sheets and blankets. Cabins are first come first received.  Once at day of registration you will be able to choose cabin. If wanting to bunk with friends please inform registration day of. 

  (Primitive cabins with electric available limited to medical) 


Bring your tent 

 Set up your tent around the Cabins in main camp or find a place in the woods. 


RV

      Dont like Primitive no worries bring your RV. No hook-ups and limited spots. Generators ok.

The retreat will begin with a brief welcome and orientation, followed by a facilitated get-to-know-you peer activity. This is a low-pressure icebreaker designed to help participants meet one another, understand community expectations, and ease into the weekend in a supportive, inclusive way.


This retreat is intended for adults (18+) with an interest in alternative lifestyles, relationship diversity, and consent-centered community spaces.

Participants may include individuals who are:

Curious, new, or experienced

Single, partnered, or polyamorous

Exploring power dynamics, roleplay, or consensual alternative expression

Interested in education, connection, and embodied learning


All genders, orientations, and relationship structures are welcome.


No prior experience is required. The retreat welcomes participants from beginner to advanced, including those who are simply curious.

Education, consent, and mutual respect are foundational to the experience, and programming is designed to be accessible across experience levels.


Absolutely. Attending without a partner is not an issue, and many participants attend solo. The retreat is designed to offer a variety of ways to engage, connect, observe, learn, or simply be present. Participation in any activity is optional, and everyone is encouraged to engage at their own comfort level.

LaSalle County Konnections welcomes individuals of all relationship structures and experience levels.


The retreat includes community-facilitated connection tools designed to support consensual interaction and exploration.

One visible board allows participants to post optional interest-based invitations for consensual exploration or shared activities. Participation is entirely voluntary, and all interactions are expected to follow consent and community guidelines.

A second board is used for participant-led activities or demonstrations, where individuals may invite others to join, observe, or engage in shared experiences. These offerings are optional and community-guided.

All participation is consent-centered, and no one is expected to engage beyond their comfort level.


What happens if I am late for check in?

No problem, please let a staff member know prior to event.  We will make arrangements to get you checked in. 


Programming may include facilitated education, creative and expressive arts, embodiment-based practices, and experiential modalities. All activities are optional, consent-centered, and designed to support connection, communication, and personal expression in an adult environment.


Refund policy:
No refunds issued after 30 days before the start of the event.

NOTE: If you have paid for a registration for another person, that registration is considered a gift and can only be cancelled by the person to whom the registration was given.


Can I transfer my ticket to another person

Due to legalities there are no transfers.

 No guarantee if you cancel it will reopen a space for another attendee once the event sells out.

Selling your ticket forfeits your buyer from attending.  They will be denied access to Kamp.

Saturday and Sunday  breakfast 


Lunch and snacks will be your responsibility.


Fridge, microwave, and kitchen will NOT be available.


Please bring cooler and beverages of choice. 

Alcoholic drinks are allowed but Intoxication is not.  

Please check L.c.K Kinky Kamping group on fetlife for discussion on lunch. Many Kampers come together for a pot luck style lunch.  

There is also a nearby restaurant with a full menu.  


Are there Showers and bathrooms?

Yes there are two shower/bathroom houses with electric and flushing toliets 

Freely to be used. 

We ask that you tidy up after each use.


Yes, there is a parking lot available. No parking beyond the creek. No vehicles besides staff are allowed beyond bridge.  Please use carts to haul camping gear beyond bridge. 


We will get back to you on when we confirm everything.  Typically this will be about a week or two before event.  Sometimes earlier!  Rest assured that it will be a variety of topics and for all levels to enjoy.  


Cabin Accommodations
Cabins are primitive bunkhouse-style and will be assigned prior to the event.
When registering, please indicate if there is someone you would like to bunk with, and we will do our best to accommodate requests.

Each cabin comfortably holds 6–8 adults.

Beds are twin mattress bunks.

All cabins are primitive (no heat, air conditioning, or outlets).

Two cabins have electricity, with priority given to attendees with documented medical needs. Please inform staff during registration if you require electric for medical equipment.

You are welcome to bring a personal generator if additional electric access is needed.


This event is rain or shine and the risk of camping.  We do have cabins with twin beds and the main lodge in case of extreme conditions everyone Is welcome to move inside buildings.   Slumber party!


No, pets are not allowed at Lasalle County Konnections. Service animals are permitted.


Unfortunately No, Fires are only allowed at designated areas. Firewood is provided.

This is the venue rental policy. 


Smoking & Vaping Policy
Yes — smoking and vaping are allowed

Please field strip filters and discard them in the waste areas.

Be respectful and considerate of those around you — some attendees may have allergies or sensitivities to smoke and vapor.

Around the pool area

In or near dungeon spaces

Yes, nudity is permitted in designated areas of the retreat. However, private areas must be covered when entering shared dining or meal spaces, in accordance with community guidelines.

Additional expectations regarding attire and shared spaces will be outlined during orientation.
